Firmware Update V4.0.3 Available for the G'AIM'E TIME CRISIS Mini-Console.

We are pleased to release a new Firmware update for the G'AIM'E TIME CRISIS Mini-Console, introducing improvements designed to improve aiming stability in a wider range of home setups.

Based on valuable feedback from the community, this update focuses on improving how the Lightgun camera recognises the edges of the TV screen in environments where the background around the display may be busy or unclear.

New Feature: Background Environment Assist Mode

The update introduces a new Background Environment Assist Mode, which helps the Lightgun better identify the left and right boundaries of the game screen. This can improve aiming stability when playing in rooms where surrounding objects, colours, or lighting conditions make screen detection more challenging.

Players can now select from three colour bar options in the settings menu:

• Black

• White

• Pink

Each option provides a different contrast level, allowing players to choose the one that works best for their environment.

Initial testing has shown that this feature can provide a noticeable improvement in many setups.

Important Notes

While this feature can enhance screen recognition, performance may vary depending on your room setup, lighting conditions, and the environment around your TV. As a result, perfect operation cannot be guaranteed in every environment.
