Compete for the World’s Fastest Clear Time
The arcade version of TIME CRISIS, originally released by Namco (now Bandai Namco Entertainment) in March 1996, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026.
To commemorate this milestone, we have created the G'AIM'E WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 (#GWC2026) to bring together players from around the world in an online competition.
While G'AIM'E is a plug-and-play light gun designed to emphasize accessible fun for casual players, it still provides a competitive experience that skilled players can fully enjoy.
Who will rise to the top and claim the title of the world's best?
The aim of the competition is simple. Play the game, then post a picture or video depending on which squad you want to take part in!
If you are taking part in the **Enjoy** competition, all we need is a photo, or if you are entering the **Athlete** competition, we are going to need a short video.
Feeling confident? Then why not take part in both! Just remember to include your G‘AIM’E Lightgun in the final entry.
Just enjoy yourself, take part and challenge other players around the world!

Clear the game as fast as possible and then share your times on our social pages to enter the competition.

Participants can enter both squads.
“Enjoy” Squad – For casual gamers (for those who prefer things a little more relaxed)
“Athlete” Squad – For the pro gamer (for those a little more confident in their gaming skills)
Weekly rankings will be announced every Thursday so players can track their standing throughout the competition.

(We will be looking for players who have entered the **Enjoy** or **Athlete** event who have also engaged with the competition social pages online)

These special prizes are available to anyone (even those who don’t own a G‘AIM’E system but do engage with the online competition by liking and reposting event information).

Store Demo Participation
Players who do not own G'AIM'E × TIME CRISIS can still participate using in-store demo units (*Where available).

Participation limited to Enjoy Division only

Maximum one play per person per day

Up to 10 minutes of gameplay
Participants are asked to be considerate and avoid occupying demo stations for extended periods. Participation in the championship via demo play is limited to designated demo locations only.

The results will be announced on Thursday, April 14th 2026. Players will be sent their medals accordingly (ETA mid-May onwards). We will contact you via direct message from either the Tassei Denki or mygaime account, so please make sure not to unfollow these accounts or we will be unable to send your prize!

Participation in both the Enjoy Division and the Athlete Division is allowed.

In accordance with good sportsmanship, the use of any devices other than G'AIM'E × Time Crisis is strictly prohibited. If any cheating or manipulation of time scores is suspected, the participant will be disqualified. In addition, if any other suspicious behaviour is observed, participation may be denied.

Participation using shared accounts such as corporate accounts is permitted; however, the use of a single handle name shared by multiple individuals is prohibited. To ensure fairness, participants should enter as individuals.

Participation using demo units at eligible stores is also permitted. Please refer to the list of participating stores. As playtime and other conditions may vary by location, we kindly ask that you follow the instructions and guidelines provided by each store when playing.

For both the Enjoy Division and the Athlete Division, it is not necessary to complete the game on a single coin. You may continue playing by selecting CONTINUE.
